Andrew Warns Of ‘Shocking’ Storylines For Primeval
Primeval actor Andrew-Lee Potts has claimed that producers have “shocking” storylines ready for the new series. The 30-year-old will return to his role as Connor Temple on the sci-fi show.
The programme was recently recommissioned for 13 more new episodes after concerns that it would be axed as a result of budget cutbacks at ITV.
In an interview with IESB, Potts said: “It’s great coming back to play him. And then, also, I get to work with my fiancée Hannah Spearritt.
“When it was cancelled, it was such a shame because we enjoyed working with each other so much and we thought, ‘We might never do that again’.
That made us sad. But, we’re going to be able to do that again.”

I had a ‘gut feeling’ Primeval would be back for more, also!! There was no way it could end there. Too many people love that show. Even over here in America!

And now with the success of Alice and the new legion of fans (hello!) over here in America due to his performance as Hatter, Primeval is guaranteed to have even more viewers thanks to Andrew. Like me, because I ended up watching all 3 seasons of it in four days after I saw Alice.

Thanks to your performance in Alice, I also have purchased all 3 seasons of Primeval – sight on seen and no idea of what to expect. (I live in the USA so I had not seen the series)
I was NOT disappointed. Hy husband and daughter who was home for the college break thought I was off with the new enthusiasm over Sifi..but now we are all watching the DVDs and are all fans.
I am looking forward to the new shows, and I hope that it will be shown in the US without delays.

im SO HAPPY the series got uncancelled, i would have cried if it ended where it did.
i cant wait! i too watched all of primeval the day after i watched alice
now my family is addcited too! its so much fun and andrew as connor temple is my soulmate lol

i’m so glad that Primeval is returning and i really can’t wait for series 4 to begin :} I also agree with caitlin about primeval maybe getting more viewers as of andrew playing the hatter but over here in the UK they haven’t shown Alice yet so i’m not sure, but i just can’t wait for it to begin

I am so excited that Primeval is coming back on! after seeing the last episode there was no way they could leave it like that! This show is too good to be cancled! And it is a hit in the Americas! I <3 it

and Alice was a HUGE hit in the US! It was by far my fav. twist on the classic~

Syfy’s Alice was my introduction to Andrew-Lee Potts. Wow. I was intrigued by Mr. Potts’ ability to convey a complex mix of emotions so convincingly and it sure didn’t hurt that he has sex appeal guaranteed to turn any woman’s head. Primeval has a new fan (as long as they have Andrew-Lee)! I hope Mr. Potts will have more and more opportunities to act here “across the pond”.

Primeval will start filming this March and will air new episodes in England in early 2011. Can’t wait!
